The park was built courtesy of a $100,000 gift from the Theodore Baldwin Foundation, and was dedicated in 1988. The park features four soccer fields for competitive and recreational play. The west half of the park has prairie grasses, rolling hills, and natural trails. The hike/bike trail system borders the park on the north side.
