The bookmobile will be out and about in the county during the month of June, so hop on at the stop nearest you!
Challenge sheets can be picked up in the library, on the bookmobile, via curbside pickup, or printed from home, all summer long— June 1–July 31, 2021. All challenges are due by Saturday, July 31 by 5:00 pm for a chance to win a grand prize. Click the link above for all the details!
Anyone ages 5–100+ can take part in one of our very favorite summertime events. Create an edible book simply by creating something edible that issomehow book-related.
This year all entries and voting will be done virtually. Those who enter can create their entries at home, take a photo to submit, and enjoy their creation. To enter, complete the online Edible Book Registration Form (which will ask you to upload a photo of your creation) by the category deadline listed below. Entries must be made of at least 95% edible materials and be family-friendly. One entry per person.
Everyone can take part in the public voting for "People's Choice" on Facebook and our website.
Pets Reading Photo Contest
Entries Accepted: June 1–30 Public Voting: July 1–11
Send us a photo of your pet (real or pretend) reading! We'll print your entry and display it at the library.
Age Categories: Youth 0–12, Teen 13–18, Adult 19+
