2018 POPSUGAR Reading Challenge

This year, there are 40 book prompts to broaden your reading scope and push you to actually accomplish your New Year's resolution to read more in 2018. If you're really hardcore and breeze through the main list, there are an additional 10 book prompts in the "advanced" section.

2018 A to Z Reading Challenge!

atozRead one book for each letter of the alphabet in this challenge. Yes, even for the difficult letters! Also, each month there will be three extra challenges, like 'reading a book with a costume on the cover' or 'reading a book with dual perspectives.' You can also choose to take part in read-a-thons, Twitter parties, and more! Either sign up on the hosting website or just try this challenge on your own. There are kid-lit and adult versions of this challenge.

Monthly Key Word Challenge 2018

Monthly Key Word ChallengeThis challenge asks you to read at least one book each month whose title includes one or more of the key words for that month. For instance, in January you might read Mystery in White by J. Jefferson Farjeon to fulfill the key word of 'white.' Each month has nine key words to choose from.

While I was readingThis reading challenge offers 12 suggestions. Enjoy categories such as: read a book that takes place in one day, read a book you received as a gift, read a collection of poetry, and more. It's simple - just read a book that connects somehow to each category.

Around the Year in 52 Books (Goodreads)

Around the YearFor those who have Goodreads accounts, this may be the challenge for you! Work your way through the 52 topics that were chosen by Goodreads members - that means one book each week, all year long. You can't change the topics, but you're free to choose whatever book you're interested in for each category.
