In singsong text, a little boy describes his adventure into the deep blue sea. He plays peekaboo with a hermit crab and fences with a swordfish until he eventually discovers a pirate’s treasure chest. After the story, we will create a sea turtle craft.

Come listen to Miss Shawna read Way Down Deep in the Deep Blue Sea by Jan Peck (in-person session only), and then create a sea turtle craft. We are offering both in-person and virtual sessions for this program—so choose the right option for you when you register! Supplies for the virtual sessions will be available for pick up beginning at 9:00 am and the video will be released at 4:00 pm on July 28. You can craft anytime you wish. Limited to 50 participants aged 2–11 per session.
