[ARCHIVED] Movies and More @ Your Kearney Public Library

Join the summer reading fun for adults and Make Waves@Your Library! We will supply the popcorn for Monday Movie Matinees featuring classic water-themed movies each Monday beginning June 7 at 3:00 p.m. Frankie Avalon and Annette Funnicello will kick off the series in Bikini Beach.

Monday Movie Matinees will continue from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. each Monday on the following dates:

• June 14 – Houseboat - starring Cary Grant and Sophia Loren in adventures aboard a floating home.
• June 21 – 20,000 Leagues under the Sea - Captain Nemo explores the ocean depths in this classic Jules Verne tale.
• June 28 – Father Goose – Cary Grant and Leslie Caron team up in the South Pacific during WW II for adventures on a small tropical island with six young refugees.

Also join us each Wednesday for the Bring Your Lunch & Learn series. Checkout our website for additional programs at Programs are recommended for audiences 7th grade and up.
