[ARCHIVED] Ventriloquist to Perform at Kearney Public Library

Ventriloquist Kevin Horner will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10 at Kearney Public Library.

Horner's "Wake up and Dream Big" performance brings along several of his friends for 45 minutes of ventriloquism and magic, including sleepy polar bear, Ned E. Bear, Coconuts, a Spanish-speaking gorilla who has been reading a book of knock, knock jokes, Twinkie, the balloon popping bunny, and Sheldon, the turtle, who struggles with his self confidence in a routine called "Bow Your Neck and Say You Will!"

Following the performance, Horner will provide a ventriloquism workshop for those ages 10 and above. The workshop is scheduled to begin at 7:45 p.m. at Kearney Public Library.

The performance is free and is part of the Kearney Public Library's "Summer Nights" summer reading program.
