Kearney Public Library will be offering a number of computer classes this fall. The schedule begins in August, with classes on Internet Basics and Microsoft Word. Internet Basics will cover information on what the internet is, as well as basic information on how to search for information and navigate websites. The Microsoft Word class will include basic information on how to use Word for basic word processing tasks. Class times are as follows:
Internet Basics: Thursday, August 9 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. (Register by Tuesday, August 7) or Saturday, August 18 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. (Register by Thursday, August 16).
Microsoft Word: Tuesday, August 14 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. (Register by Friday, August 10) or Thursday, August 30 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. (Register by Tuesday, August 28).
Register by calling the TLC Desk at 233-3612, or by signing up in the TLC. Patrons must have a library card in good standing to attend computer classes. There is a limit of 12 participants for each class.
