Kearney Public Library will be offering the following computer classes during the month of April:
• Google Maps: Tuesday, April 9 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. (Registration deadline: Monday, April 8.) This class will explore how to use Google Maps to find places, get driving directions, create personal maps, and use street view.
• Email Basics: Thursday, April 18 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. (Registration deadline: Tuesday, April 16.) This class will center on creating a personal email account using Yahoo Mail or Gmail.
• Intro to Social Media: Wednesday, April 24 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (Registration deadline: Monday, April 22.) This class will explore some of the different social media sites commonly in use, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest. This class is designed for those interested in entering the world of social media.
To register, please call the Library at (308) 233-3612, or sign up in the computer lab. Class size is limited to 12 participants. All computer classes will be held in the computer classroom on the lower level of the Library.
