Humanities Nebraska speaker Joan Wells will present a program “The History of Trick Roping and the Wild West Show” on Monday, June 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Kearney Public Library.
Joan has toured with her trick roping and western music and won the title as Women’s World Champion Trick Roper at Will Rogers Trick Roping Contest in Claremore, Oklahoma. Joan was inducted into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Ft. Worth in 1989.
