Award-winning singer/songwriter Mike Blakely is coming to the Kearney Public Library, Monday, July 22, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Nominated for the 2013 Entertainer of the Year by the Texas Music Association, Blakely has toured all over the United States and Europe. As a singer/songwriter he has released 11 CDs. As an author, he has published 17 books and his last two were co-writes, one with Willie Nelson, the other with Kenny Rogers. Mike is a two-time winner of the Western Writers of America’s Spur Award – once for best western novel of the year, and once for best western song of the year. Join us for this free concert suggested for audiences’ high school age and up.
