Kearney Public Library will host two quiz events on Tuesday, April 15. No registration is required for either quiz. Please call the Library at 308-233-3282 for more information.

In celebration of National Library Week, “Lunch Quiz @ the Library” will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kearney Public Library. Teams of one to five people will answer 30 trivia questions in one hour. There will be 10 questions each from three categories: science, pop culture, and sports. Smartphones may not be used to answer questions. The team with the most correct answers wins a prize. The event will be held in the South Platte Room at Kearney Public Library. The free question is: By the age of 60, most people have lost half of their what?

Kearney Public Library’s “Pub Quiz at the Chicken Coop” will be held from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The format and rules are the same as the Lunch Quiz. The event is held in the basement of the Chicken Coop, 2115 Avenue A, Kearney. No registration is required. Please call the Library at 308-233-3282 for more information. The free question for the evening quiz is: What is the main function of red blood cells?
