[ARCHIVED] Still Time to Join Award-winning Writer for a Writing Workshop

Award-winning author Paula Bosco Damon will conduct a non-fiction writing workshop, reading, and book signing from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at the Kearney Public Library.

Preregistration for this free public event, designed for ages 16 and older, is requested by calling 308-233-3283 or by emailing cwalsh@kearneygov.org. Registration deadline is Monday, May 19. Participants should bring writing tools to the workshop.

“Everyone has stories within”, Damon said. “This hands-on workshop will offer tips on overcoming writer’s block and discovering and developing the many narratives just waiting to be told.

The author holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the School of Contemporary Media and Journalism and a master’s degree in English from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion. To view samples of her work, visit http://my-story-your-story.blogspot.com.
