[ARCHIVED] Edible Book Festival at Kearney Public Library

People of all ages are invited to Kearney Public Library’s inaugural Edible Book Festival on June 11. Anyone can enter by creating something edible that is somehow book-related. Think book titles, characters, plots, literary figures, puns on book titles, etc. For inspiration visit the Library’s Pinterest “Edible Books” board ( or do an online search for edible books.

Entry forms and complete guidelines are available at Kearney Public Library, on the Bookmobile, or via the Library’s webpage at Even if you don’t submit an entry, you can still participate by coming to the Festival from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to view all the entries and submit your vote for the “People’s Choice” award.
