Kearney Public Library will be offering computer classes on Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Drive, OverDrive eBooks, and Facebook in November. The PowerPoint class will discuss the basics of creating a slideshow presentation using PowerPoint 2010. Google Drive will discuss creating and saving files online using a Google account. OverDrive eBooks will discuss using the Library’s digital eBook software. Facebook will discuss the basics of using a personal Facebook account. Class times are as follows:
• Microsoft PowerPoint: Tuesday, November 4 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
• Google Drive: Wednesday, November 12 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
• OverDrive eBooks: Thursday, November 20 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
• Facebook: Tuesday, November 25 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Register by calling the TLC Desk at (308) 233-3612, or by signing up in the computer lab. Patrons must have a library card in good standing to attend computer classes. There is a limit of 15 participants for each class.
