Kearney Public Library welcomes Nebraska author Genevieve Dewey, Saturday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. Dewey has recently released her newest novel “The Good Life” featuring characters from the chart topping short romances “The Bird Day Battalion” and “The V-Day Aversion”. The novel is set entirely within Nebraska and is contemporary romantic comedy. The paperback contains both short stories as well as the full length novel “The Good Life”, which will be the first time in print for those eBooks.

Dewey currently lives in Cozad, Nebraska with her husband and children. She has a passion for reading, writing, and research and also has a Master’s Degree in Anthropology. She is the author of “First, I Love You” and “Second of All”, books in the Downey Trilogy. She will share about the process of writing, getting published, and welcomes questions.
