Beginning February 2, 2015 AARP will be offering free tax-filing assistance at two Kearney locations:
• Mondays from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Peterson Senior Activity Center, 2020 West 11th Street. The dates are February 2, 9, 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and April 6 and 13, 2015.
• Thursdays from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Kearney Public Library, 2020 1st Avenue. The dates are February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 5, 12, 19, 26, and April 2 and 9, 2015.
There are no income, age, or forms restrictions in order to receive this free assistance. Please bring your social security cards, photo ID, and all tax documents, including a copy of last year’s tax return and all W-2s and 1099s.
