[ARCHIVED] Internet Basics Class

Learn how to get around online with this beginner’s introduction to the Internet. The Internet Basics class will be held in the Computer Classroom on the lower level of the Kearney Public Library on Thursday, September 10 at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Please choose one of these identical sessions.

This class focuses on the basics of using the Internet, including getting online by typing in web addresses, understanding basic terminology, buttons of the Mozilla Firefox program, using search engines to find information and websites, evaluating websites and online information, and using intermediate and advanced online tools and search features.

The class is free. Class size is limited to 15, with registration required. A library card in good standing is needed in order to attend. Stop by the Kearney Public Library or call 308-233-3612 to register.
