[ARCHIVED] Coding for Kids! Class

Come learn the basic concepts of Computer Science with drag and drop programming! The Coding for Kids! Class will be held in the Computer Classroom on the lower level of the Kearney Public Library on Thursday, September 24 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Youth can choose between two game-like experiences: coding with the Angry Birds & Plants vs Zombies or coding with Anna and Elsa. Learn repeat-loops, conditionals, and basic algorithms. No prior programming experience is needed! Seriously…it’s like a game!

The class is free and designed for kids ages 8-12. Class size is limited to 15, with registration required. A library card in good standing is needed in order to attend. Stop by the Kearney Public Library or call 308-233-3612 to register.
