[ARCHIVED] Hands-On Science at Kearney Public Library

NanoDays at Kearney Public Library, in partnership with Dr. Mariana Lazarova from the Department of Physics and Physical Science at UNK, is part of a nationwide festival of educational programs about nanoscale science and engineering. Join us at Kearney Public Library on Saturday, April 23 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

NanoDays celebrations bring university researchers together with science educators to create learning experiences for both children and adults to explore the miniscule world of atoms, molecules, and nanoscale forces. NanoDays events consist of several fun hands-on activities, demonstrating the special and unexpected properties found at the nanoscale, examine tools used by nanoscientists, showcase nano materials with spectacular promise, and invite discussion of technology and society.

The local community is invited to enjoy many of these activities at Kearney Public Library! This program is free and open to all ages.
