[ARCHIVED] Hanson Family Jugglers to Perform at Library

The Kearney Public Library is excited to present the Hanson Family from Kanawha, Iowa to perform juggling and unicycle tricks on Tuesday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m.

Mark Hanson, a two-time Guinness World Record holder for speed juggling, his national unicycle champion daughter, Christa, and the rest of the Hanson Family are bringing their talents to the Kearney Public Library to share their “Recycled Fun” library program.

Bring your kids to hear inspiring stories and watch the Hanson family perform juggling and unicycle tricks that they have showcased on two occasions for the world famous Harlem Globetrotters basketball team. Discover how to improve yourself through reading and improve the world with unusually fun recycling ideas.

After the 45 minute show all the Library patrons will be invited to learn how to juggle with Mark Hanson as their teacher. Everyone will also be invited to play with fun skill toys, like plastic spinning plates, paper balance cones, and mesmerizing Bubble Sticks. What’s a Bubble Stick? You’ll have to come to the Library to find out!

The Hanson Family has performed for thousands of kids at libraries, schools, and at fairs and festivals for many years. This free program is open to all ages. Kearney Public Library is located at 2020 1st Avenue, Kearney, NE.
