The talented Miss V returns to KPL on Wednesday, July 6, with two special programs. At 10:00 a.m. join in on traditional tunes, playing a variety of household instruments including washtubs, scrub boards, spoons, saws, drums, bells, shakers, and more. This will be great fun for all ages with the focus on the creativity of making music and instruments.
At 6:30 p.m. Miss V offers a firsthand glimpse into life on the range for homesteaders of the West with her presentation of “The Modern-Day Homesteader.” Enjoy her beautiful documentary chronicling her personal journey on a remote homestead ranch in the Rocky Mountains. You’ll be transported to a different time and place with refreshing simplicity. Miss V, “The Gypsy Cowbelle,” will also sing and play her guitar as well as answer questions about her modern-day homesteading experiences.
All ages are welcome to both programs with no registration required.
