Have a Blind Date with a Book this February! Visit the Kearney Public Library anytime from February 1 through 28 and choose a book from the ‘Blind Date’ display. Check out the book, take it home, show it your favorite spots to read, and get to know each other. Return the ‘Rate Your Date’ card to the Library by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3 to be entered into a drawing for one of four ‘Date Night’ prizes! Open to ages 16 and up. Two entries allowed per individual. Drawing will be held on Monday, March 6.
Youth ages 15 and under are invited to check out a “Sweet Read” in February. “Sweet Reads” will be available for checkout in the youth and teen areas. Return the “Sweet Read” card to the Library by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3 to be entered into a prize drawing. Two entries allowed per child. Drawing will be held on Monday, March 6.
