[ARCHIVED] Aspen and Alice Black at Kearney Public Library

Kearney Public Library welcomes back award-winning musician and educator, Aspen Black, for three programs: “Everyday Inspirations”, for adult writers, “The Singing Cowgirls”, a concert for all ages, and “Peek-A-Boo, Buckaroo!”, a fun developmental skills program for the very young.


“Everyday Inspirations” is aimed at adult writers, including aspiring writers, and is scheduled on Thursday, August 24 from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.  Lunch is included; please contact the Library to register.  Aspen asks that all participants bring one photo or object from home and a pad of paper and pen, or electronic device, for writing exercises.


From children to adults to seniors, the “Singing Cowgirls” promises fun for everyone! Join Aspen and Alice Black on Thursday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m.  Western attire encouraged, but not required.


“Peek-A-Boo, Buckaroo!” is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25.  Little cowpokes are encouraged to dress up in western boots and hats for this fun, action-packed program.  All three programs are free to the public, courtesy of the Kearney Public Library.
