On Monday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m., Kearneyite Steve Rothenberger, member of the Nebraska Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame, will present a flashback to the 1960s when dragging Main, drive-ins, sock hops, and soda pop were major teenage past times. This flashback is based on the recent publication of his book, A Rock ‘n Roll Retrospective of Small Town America. Steve will explore the decade of the ‘60s that gave us pure rock ‘n roll from street corner doo-wop and the British Invasion to Woodstock in 1969. Q and A and book signing will follow.
