People of all ages are invited to the library’s 6th Annual Edible Book Festival on June 19. Anyone can enter by creating something edible that is somehow book-related. Think book titles, characters, plots, literary figures, puns on book titles, etc. For inspiration visit the library’s Pinterest “Edible Books” board at www.pinterest.com/kearneylib or do an online search for edible books. Entry forms and complete guidelines are available at the library, on the bookmobile, or via the library’s webpage at www.kearneylib.org. Even if you don’t submit an entry, you can still participate by coming to the festival from 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. to view all the entries and submit your vote for the People’s Choice award. Prizes will be awarded in four categories in each of four age divisions. Entry forms must be submitted by Wednesday, June 12. The library is located at 2020 First Avenue.
