Lee’s new thriller about an ancient disease released from the melting permafrost and a subsequent, opportunistic cyber attack on the U.S. power grid is the first of the Nebraska author’s books to take place in the Midwest. Spanning rural Iowa, Nebraska, and Colorado, The Line Between is an action-packed race against time as the nation careens toward disaster. The follow-up installment, A Single Light, was released September 17 and takes place almost entirely in western Nebraska.
Lee, a former Mrs. Nebraska 1996, moved with her family from Virginia to Lincoln where her father, Professor Emeritus and Regents Distinguished Scholar Sang M. Lee, chaired the Business Management Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for more than 35 years. Lee’s mother is a native of Elwood, Nebraska, and her great, great, great grandmother was one of Nebraska’s first women homesteaders.
This program is free and open to the public. Book sales and signing will follow the presentation. Thank you to Sequel Bookshop for this partnership.
