Kearney Public Library and UNK-History Department welcome you to the history brown bag lunch series Wednesday, October 6 from noon-1:00 pm. Dr. Nathan Tye will present “Wheel Towns: The History of Bicycling in the Platte Valley, 1880-1920”.
Dr. Nathan Tye is an assistant professor of history at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he specializes in the history of Nebraska and the American West, and teaches courses on Nebraska, Midwestern, public and digital history. Tye received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
