[ARCHIVED] Residential Burglaries in Kearney

The Kearney Police Department is investigating several recent burglaries to residences in which jewelry and cash were stolen. The burglaries are believed to have been committed during day time hours.

On June 6 jewelry was stolen from a residence on West 49th Street between 9:00 a.m. and Noon. A significant amount of jewelry was also reported to be stolen from a residence on Country Club Lane on September 24. On October 3 between Noon as 12:35 p.m. a residential burglary was reported on North Central Avenue. Cash and jewelry were stolen from this residence.

Anyone with information regarding the above described burglaries or other crimes is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (308) 237-3424 or the Kearney Police Department at (308) 237-2104. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward. The Kearney Police Department encourages the public to report suspicious persons and suspicious activity.
