Share with your friends and family the many benefits of having a library card! It's the perfect time for them to get one too! We'll have a display and activities during this month. The theme for 2021 revolves around the event's honorary chair, Marley Dias. She is the 16-year-old founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks and author of “Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You!” #1000BlackGirlBooks is an international movement to collect and donate children’s books that feature Black girls as the lead character. The drive has collected over 13,000 books to date.
Youth ages 3–12 can join us for some brick-snapping fun! We'll provide the Legos, you provide the imagination. Design and build your own creations. No registration is required for this event.
