Share with your friends and family the many benefits of having a library card! It's the perfect time for them to get one too! We'll have a display and activities during this month. The theme for 2021 revolves around the event's honorary chair, Marley Dias. She is the 16-year-old founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks and author of “Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You!” #1000BlackGirlBooks is an international movement to collect and donate children’s books that feature Black girls as the lead character. The drive has collected over 13,000 books to date.
