There are a few things you'll want to take note of. 1. the food item you bring in needs to be in good condition and can't be expired and 2. this event doesn't remove the fees associated with interlibrary loans or lost or damaged items.
Share with your friends and family the many benefits of having a library card! It's the perfect time for them to get one too! We'll have a display and activities during this month. The theme for 2021 revolves around the event's honorary chair, Marley Dias. She is the 16-year-old founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks and author of “Marley Dias Gets It Done: And So Can You!” #1000BlackGirlBooks is an international movement to collect and donate children’s books that feature Black girls as the lead character. The drive has collected over 13,000 books to date.
