Neighborhood Watch

What is "Neighborhood Watch"?

Neighborhood Watch is a program of safety and security, initiated and maintained by a group of residents in a specific geographic area or neighborhood.

What does “Neighborhood Watch do”?

By joining together, neighbors agree to provide 24 hour around the clock observation and reporting of suspicious incidents to the local police. They agree to be watchful and mindful of their neighbors and their neighbor’s property.

How do you start a “Neighborhood Watch Program”?

Starting a Neighborhood Watch Program is easy. Simply meet with some of your neighbors to determine that a group of people feel it would be beneficial. Though not required of everyone, the more people who participate in the Neighborhood Watch program in your area, the better the program will be.
