Overview
Established in 1981, the Kearney Public Library Foundation is a not-for-profit organization under the umbrella of the Kearney Area Community Foundation that secures private funding for the library. Its mission is to support and enrich the capabilities, resources, and services of the Kearney Public Library, by raising public awareness of our library's importance, by generating private sector financial support to supplement public tax funding, and by being a proponent for issues that promote the viability of our library.
