Major Fundraisers
The Kearney Volunteer Fire Department holds four major fundraisers throughout the year:
- March - Bingo games are played at the Community Center in Riverdale in conjunction with a pot-luck dinner.
- August - Bingo games are played during the Buffalo County Fair.
- October - A pancake feed is held at Fire Station One.
- November - A Thanksgiving Eve dance is held.
