Ernest Grundy Tennis Center

Overview

The Ernest Grundy Tennis Center opened in May of 2022.  It is a 62,000-square-foot facility located on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Kearney. It is home to the UNK Men's and Women's tennis teams. The center is operated by the Kearney Parks & Recreation Department and features six indoor courts with mezzanine spectator seating. It also offers office space, conference rooms, and locker room space for the UNK women’s tennis team. This facility provides year-round tennis access to the public, making it easier to get the community more involved. Lessons, leagues and tournaments are offered throughout the year by tennis center staff and the Kearney Tennis Association.
