Kearney Public Library has three study rooms which are available during normal library hours for use by small groups or individuals who require a quiet atmosphere for study and/or discussion. Each study room has a table, chairs numbering the room’s maximum capacity, several power outlets, a white board with markers and eraser, and access to the library’s free wireless internet. Study rooms are available at no cost.
Reservations and Walk-Ins
- Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance. When the rooms are not reserved or in use, walk-ins are welcome. Advance reservations do take priority.

- Persons are limited to two reservations per week (Sunday to Saturday) with a maximum of two hours per day. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Reference Librarian.
- Reserved rooms are held 15 minutes beyond the reservation time and then offered to others.
