Safety Checks Before You Use Your Gas Grill:

  • Review the instructions that accompany the grill.
  • Check venturi tubes for blockage by insects, spiders, and food drippings. Clear blockage with a pipe cleaner or a wire, pushing any blockages through the tube to the main part of the burner.
  • Check hoses for cracking, brittleness, holes, and leaks. Replace bad hoses.
  • Make sure hoses are as far away from the hot surface as possible. If you can’t move hoses, have a heat shield installed.
  • Check connectors. If scratched or nicked, have them replaced, these conditions can cause leaks.

  • Make sure the grill (LG gas or charcoal) is on a stable non combustible surface.
  • NEVER USE A GRILL (LG gas or charcoal) INDOORS. Use the grill at least ten (10) feet away from your house, building, or any combustible material overhead.
  • DO NOT USE A GRILL (LP gas or charcoal) in a garage, breezeway, carport, porch, under wood decks, or under any surface that will burn.
  • When using your grill (LP gas or charcoal) NEVER LEAVE IT UNATTENDED.
  • Always follow the instructions that accompany the grill.
