You can get courtesy notices from the library by email or text message. We will notify you about your holds, items that are due or overdue, library charges, and other account activity. Important: Please note that if you'd like to use these options for all library cardholders in your family, you'll need to sign each family member up individually.

How do I sign up?

If you've never received emails from the library, please choose an option shown below.

Use text messages to manage your library account. You can receive text notifications for:

  • Pre-overdues: sent two days in advance of item due dates
  • Overdues
  • Holds ready for pickup

  • You can easily renew items (if renewable) via text message! 
  • You can also keep track of your family's items if you choose to add their card numbers to your service using the command ADDCARD.

How do I sign up?

If you've never received text messages from the library, use either option shown below.

    • You will receive a reply requesting your library card number
    • Text your library card number
  • Fill out our online form
